Frequently Asked Questions

  1. How many people are allowed to stay in the villa?
    The villa is licensed for a maximum of 10 people.

  2. Is smoking or pets allowed?
    Smoking is prohibited inside the property. No pets of any kind are allowed. Smoke detectors are fitted to the property.

  3. Is the pool overlooked?
    Our pool backs on to a conservation area of beautiful pine trees. The extra large plot ensures that we are not overlooked at the back or sides.

  4. Are linen and towels provided?
    All linen and towels are provided.

  5. How do we collect the keys?
    The keys are available for on-site collection. No need to go and check-in at a different office.

  6. How will we locate the property?
    The address, map and detailed driving instructions will be sent out 8 weeks prior to arrival.

  7. What entertainment is provided?
    We have a newly installed Games Room with a full sized pool table, air hockey and foosball. All bedrooms and family room have TVs with an upgraded cable package. The family room and Twin rooms have DVD players. There is also a VHS player, CD/Radio and free wireless internet access for those traveling with laptops. There are several books available for you to choose from.

  8. Are there any grocery shops/restaurants nearby?
    There is a brand new 24 hour Walmart superstore, a Winn Dixie, post office and Walgreen’s all within a couple of minutes drive away. There are numerous restaurants and fast food takeaways. We are only 2 ½ miles away from hwy 192 which is the main strip for all the major restaurants and shopping areas.

  9. Is the pool heated?
    Both the pool and spa can be heated separately or together, for an additional charge. With prior notice we can have the pool heated ready for your arrival. We are pleased to be able to offer a gas heater for our pool which is more effective than an electric heater. We recommend pool heating from October to March.

  10. What do we do if we encounter a problem?
    Our management company is less than 2 miles away and offers a 24 hour on call system. They will deal with any questions/emergencies that you may have during your stay.

  11. Do we need to clean the house/wash linen before we leave?
    No, our management company will do this. We only ask that you leave the house tidy.

  12. How do we book?
    Please email, fax or phone us with the dates required, or complete the on-line booking form.

  13. What if we need more than one property?
    We know of several other owners within the Orange Tree community with similar properties and would be happy to pass on your details if requested.

  14. Which way does the pool face?
    The dual aspect pool faces south east and north east overlooking the conservation area, however, due to the position of large deck, the loungers can be positioned to be in the sun from early in the morning until late afternoon/early evening. As the pool backs onto the conservation area, our deck is very private with no-one to overlook you whilst in the pool. As the lanai faces north east, there is also a shaded area for those that want it, which most south facing pool areas will not be able to provide.

  15. Do you offer a mid- term maid cleaning service?
    Yes, Why not spoil yourselves whilst staying at our home with our optional mid-term maid cleaning service. Please see our rates page for current prices.
